TOD’s new series Beneath the Surface recently had its launch event in İstanbul. Produced by Karga 7 Pictures and globally distributed by Eccho Rights, the series stars Hazal Kaya and Çağlar Ertuğrul.
The event was attended by beIN MEDIA GROUP CEO Yousef Al-Obaidly, Group Head of Entertainment Content Esra Özaral, Karga 7 Pictures CEO Ömer Özgüner, the cast, and special guests.
In his speech, Yousef Al-Obaidly highlighted TOD Studios’ dedication to producing original content from Türkiye for a global audience: “We know there is immense interest and love for Turkish productions worldwide. At TOD Studios, we are committed to telling stories from Türkiye that reach global audiences. Our aim is to introduce Türkiye’s rich culture to the world while bringing universal stories to Türkiye. The series will not only premiere in Türkiye but also in 24 countries across the MENA region, with plans to expand to more countries in 2025. It’s an honor for us to continue supporting and promoting Turkish content globally.”
Esra Özaral Altop, Chief Entertainment Content Officer at beIN MEDIA GROUP, also spoke about the series: “Beneath the Surface is a unique project that will capture the hearts of viewers with its deep narrative and strong characters. With its mysterious plot and thought-provoking exploration of the darker sides of human nature, we invite viewers to embark on a new discovery with each episode. A dedicated and talented team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and I would like to thank all the actors, the Karga 7 Pictures team, and everyone who contributed to bringing this project to life.”

Beneath the Surface premiered on October 10 with its first two episodes and will release new episodes every Thursday exclusively on TOD. The series is airing simultaneously in Türkiye as well as in countries across the Middle East and North Africa.
