Atresmedia continues its international expansion, achieving strong results at MIPCOM 2025 in Cannes, the world’s largest audiovisual marketplace. Atresmedia Sales stood out by closing multiple global deals, strengthening its position as a key player in Spanish-language production.

Alba, the hit series starring Elena Rivera, continues its international journey. Atresmedia has already closed deals for the drama, which has become a major global success, to air on SIC (Portugal), Alpha (Greece), and Telma (the Balkans). Meanwhile, Entre Tierras keeps expanding its international reach. The Antena 3 series starring Megan Montaner, renewed for a second season, will now also arrive in Finland through the YLE channel.

Another original Atresmedia story set to continue its international journey is Mariliendre. One of the most anticipated series of the season and the first musical drama from atresplayer, it is now poised for international success. Starring Blanca Martínez Rodrigo, Martín Urrutia, Omar Ayuso, Carlos González, Yenesi, and Álvaro Jurado, among others, the series will also air in Portugal on the public channel RTP.

Among other deals, a highlight is the arrival of “Honor” in the United Kingdom thanks to an agreement with Global Series Network (Walter Presents). The emotional, crime, and legal thriller starring actor Darío Grandinetti will continue its international journey, as it will also air in Greece (Nova).

Another Atresmedia original set to travel abroad is Beguinas. Atresmedia Sales has closed new international distribution deals for this drama set in the 12th century and inspired by the Beguine communities. Amaia Aberasturi and Yon González star in this series, which will premiere in Portugal (NOS) and Finland (YLE).

In addition, Santuario, the sci-fi thriller that explores motherhood from a dystopian perspective and stars Aura Garrido and Lucía Guerrero, has conquered the Baltic territories with its broadcast on TV3/GO3 and the multi-territorial platform TET. It will also air in Portugal on the NOS channel.

El Gran Salto, the drama starring Óscar Casas as Olympic champion Gervasio Deferr, will arrive in Portugal through RTP and also in Greece on the Nova channel. Meanwhile, Portugal’s RTP channel has also closed deals with Atresmedia Sales to air Déjate ver, a dramedy created by Álvaro Carmona that explores themes such as identity and our relationship with the environment, starring Macarena Sanz, and Dos años y un día, a fun comedy starring Arturo Valls as a famous actor and presenter who ends up in jail.

Additionally, at this year’s MIPCOM in Cannes, the prestigious THE WIT has selected the series Las hijas de la criada (The Maid’s Daughters) and La Encrucijada (The Crossroads) as one of the most outstanding productions on the international stage. Las hijas de la criada (The Maid’s Daughters) is the TV adaptation of the novel by Sonsoles Ónega, winner of the 2023 Premio Planeta and a literary phenomenon of the year, will premiere on atresplayer on November 30th before its prime-time debut on Antena 3. While La Encrucijada (The Crossroads), produced by Secuoya Studios and Ay Yapım, is the Spanish adaptation of the Turkish format Brave and Beautiful.
