This edition’s cover story spotlights OGM Pictures’ new series Reborn (Çarpıntı). We spoke with Onur Güvenatam, founder of OGM Pictures, and OGM UNIVERSE’s Global Distribution and Partnership Director Ekin Koyuncu, to trace the company’s journey and continued rise. We also sat down with Reborn stars Kerem Bürsin, Lizge Cömert, Sibel Taşçıoğlu, and Deniz Çakır, who shared their perspectives on the series and their characters.

As Turkish content continues to rise globally, we also feature key distributors driving this success. Onur Sözener from Calinos Entertainment, Mustafa İlbeyli from TRT Sales, Müge Akar from ATV Distribution, Can Okan from Inter Medya, and Elif Tatoğlu from Kanal D International share insights on the industry’s evolution, new strategies, and the global journey of Turkish dramas.

Also in this issue, Orçun Onat Demiröz reviews book-to-screen adaptations from Frankenstein to The Running Man, while Oben Budak explores DW’s documentary Mysteries of the Brain. Oya Doğan examines justice as the defining theme of Türkiye’s 2025/26 TV season, Yağmur Çöl dives into this year’s new Turkish dramas, and Gökçe Kocaoğlu analyzes 2025 box office trends.

Our MIPCOM 2025 special edition captures both the present and the future of the content world, and brings the warm and charming energy of Cannes to our pages.
