Amazon MGM Studios is developing a new animated film based on the iconic character of Alice in Wonderland: Mad Hatter.
Mad Hatter was famously played by Johnny Depp in 2010 film by Tim Burton.
The new project’s script will be written by Scott Mosier, known for his works in The Grinch, which had made over $500 million globally, and Free Birds.
The film will be produced by Adam Nagle on behalf of Aniventure, which was founded in 2014 as an animation company developing film and series projects with studios such as Amazon, Netflix, Paramount, and Sony. This time Amazon MGM Studios will be cooperating with Aniventure.
The details of the story has yet to be revealed, however Mad Hatter is an unforgettable character from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, so it is exciting to consider what is to come.
