Netflix has officially given a series order to Dealies, a brand-new adult animated comedy series set in a big box store, developed by Joe Bennett, Ted Travelstead, and Green Street Pictures, the studio behind Common Side Effects and Scavenger’s Reign.

The series follows the wild adventures of an eccentric staff working at a massive hypermarket, featuring a savant salesman, a gentle gladiator, a quiet virtuoso, a summoner of the divine, and the poor soul of a manager who made the mistake of hiring them all.

While these self-proclaimed “prophets of enterprise” master the delicate alchemy of trade, they only occasionally manage to do some actual work.

Serving as showrunners, writers, and executive producers, creators Joe Bennett and Ted Travelstead steer the project alongside a robust executive producing team that includes Lisa Mierke, as well as Alex Plapinger, James Merrill, Sean Buckelew, and Benjy Brooke on behalf of Green Street Pictures.

Dealies marks the latest addition to Netflix’s expanding slate of adult animated comedies, joining upcoming projects like Strip Law, Mating Season, and Alley Cats, alongside the second seasons of Haunted Hotel and Long Story Short.
