Netflix’s hit miniseries Adolescence stood out at the awards, taking home a total of six awards. The show’s creator, Stephen Graham, won three Emmys as producer, writer, and actor. The series’s young star, Owen Cooper, also made history by becoming the youngest winner in Emmy history.
Among the most talked-about series of 2025, HBO’s The Pitt dominated the drama category. Lead actor Noah Wyle won “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series” on his seventh Emmy nomination, while Katherine LaNasa claimed a surprise win in the “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series” category.
In comedy, Apple TV+ series The Studio earned four awards. Star Seth Rogen won in all four categories, including “Outstanding Comedy Series.” He also shared “Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series” with Evan Goldberg and took home “Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series” alongside Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez.
Javier Bardem’s Israel Protest Marks the Night
Oscar-winning Spanish actor Javier Bardem made headlines at the Emmys by wearing a keffiyeh, a symbol of Palestinian solidarity. Bardem called for commercial and diplomatic sanctions against Israel and used the phrase “Free Palestine.”

In a statement, Bardem said he “will never work with some company now [who] are not condemning the genocide in Gaza.” and added, “Me not getting jobs is absolutely relevant compared to what is going on there.”
