ZDF Studios has further expanded its long-standing partnership with the Czech Republic’s Prima Group through a new agreement involving a package of 360 popular “Herzkino” titles, which consist of 90-minute romantic dramas and comedies.
This extensive collection includes films from beloved strands such as Rosamunde Pilcher, Inga Lindström, A Summer in…, and Katie Fforde.
The deal, which covers a mix of re-licensing and first-run rights, grants access for Free TV and basic cable in the Czech Republic, as well as Czech-language basic cable in Slovakia, with the content primarily intended for broadcast on the Prima Love channel.
Ultimately, this agreement reinforces the continued demand for ZDF Studios’ premium scripted content across Central and Eastern Europe and underscores the strength of its ongoing collaboration with the Prima Group.
