The cast of the upcoming Netflix series Kuşatma (The Siege) is coming together, with Aslı Enver and Engin Akyürek (Fatmagul, Farah) in the lead roles. Produced by Tims&B, directed by Uluç Bayraktar, and written by Meriç Acemi, the series will follow Osman Bulut, a powerful shipping magnate, and Nihal, a designer who stands up to him. Engin Akyürek will play Osman, and Aslı Enver will portray Nihal.
According to Birsen Altuntaş, Taro Emir Tekin and Zeynep Oymak have also joined the cast. Filming is set to begin at the end of September.
