BEEF, created by Lee Sung Jin and A24, is a critically acclaimed anthology series.
Season 2 kicks off at Monte Vista Point, an upscale country club that becomes a pressure cooker for hidden tensions among both staff and members. The story follows Joshua Martín (Oscar Isaac), the club’s general manager; Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny), a lower-level employee; Lindsay Crane-Martín (Carey Mulligan), Joshua’s wife; Austin Davis (Charles Melton), Ashley’s fiancé; Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), the wealthy club owner; and Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho), Chairwoman Park’s second husband, who adds a subtle layer of tension.

The narrative explores how domestic conflicts spill over into the workplace while highlighting the generational clash between millennial and Gen Z couples. The teaser shows Joshua and Lindsay’s explosive argument at home being witnessed by Ashley and Austin, escalating the stakes even further.
Season 2 of BEEF spans eight episodes and premieres on Netflix on April 16. Lee Sung Jin emphasizes a more passive-aggressive tension this season, focusing on the repression of anger and its impact within professional and personal dynamics.
