The Gentlemen, created by renowned English director and producer Guy Ritchie, was one of the prominent TV series of last year. The Netflix series, set in the same universe as Ritchie’s 2019 film The Gentlemen, had high ratings and has been renewed for a second season in 2024.

Starring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, the filming for the second season has begun in the UK. Theo James reprises his role as Eddie Horniman, while Kaya Scodelario returns as the cunning mastermind Susie Glass. The series is preparing to expand its criminal empire with the second season.

Several new cast members are joining the second season, including Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey) and British TV celebrity Maya Jama. Additional new cast members include Benjamin Clementine (Dune), Benedetta Porcaroli (The Leopard), Michele Morrone (Another Simple Favour), Sergio Castellitto (Conclave), Amra Mallassi (Dune: Part Two), and Tyler Conti.

Along with its larger ensemble, The Gentlemen will venture beyond the UK and reach new destinations. Meanwhile, Ritchie will return with his signature cinematic language, crime comedies, and humour.

On the other hand, Ritchie is currently in the spotlight with the crime drama MobLand series, which he both directed and produced. Featuring a star-studded cast including Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Paddy Considine, MobLand is one of the most acclaimed works of 2025.

The release date for Season 2 of The Gentlemen is yet to be announced by Netflix.
