Winter Soldier star Sebastian Stan may join The Batman Part II.
The Oscar-nominated actor had previously portrayed the Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is unclear whether Sebastian Stan’s character in The Batman Part II will be a hero or a villain.
The movie will be directed by Matt Reeves and filming is expected to begin in the spring of 2026, with the release date being October 2027.
Colin Farrell (Penguin), Jeffrey Wright (Gordon) and Andy Serkis (Alfred) are set to reprise their roles. Meanwhile, Barry Keoghan is expected to return as the Joker.
Although The Batman Part II exists outside James Gunn and Peter Safran’s newly launched DCU, it remains firmly set within Matt Reeves’ Batman universe.
