Amazon unveiled its star-studded 2026 upfront slate in New York, centering its upcoming strategy for Prime Video on two massive book-to-screen adaptations and several high-profile new projects.

Highlighting the presentation was the greenlight for Rebecca Yarros’s global fantasy phenomenon Fourth Wing, which is being developed by Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society and Kilter Films. The series will be adapted by Meredith Averill, with Lisa Joy set to direct the pilot.

Additionally, Amazon ordered an adaptation of Elsie Silver’s bestselling romance series Rose Hill, produced by Temple Hill, which promises a passionate and rugged family drama set in a mountain town.

Prime Video also expanded its comedy lineup with Escorted, a new series from Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, who will write and executive produce the story of a divorced father in Manhattan who accidentally becomes a male escort.

Alongside these new titles, Prime Video confirmed official premiere dates for its returning heavyweights, announcing that The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will return for Season 3 on November 11, 2026, while the Chris Pratt-led The Terminal List is scheduled for its Season 2 debut on October 21. Fans of unscripted content also received good news as the breakout hoax series Jury Duty was officially renewed for a third season.
