She sends her three year old son, Kuzey, to Istanbul to stay with her Mother Filiz for a while. However, on the journey to Istanbul Kuzey goes missing. After three years of searching Karsu happens upon Kuzey on a trip to Mersin. Karsu is relieved to be reunited with her son, however, Kuzey who now goes by Deniz does not recognise her. Karsu will have to fight to win her son back, whilst dealing with her challenging family situation.
