Netflix has unveiled its Thailand content slate for 2026, featuring three series, four films, and its first locally produced feature-length documentary.
According to the streamer, more than 90% of Netflix subscribers in Thailand watched local content last year. To date, 33 Thai titles have charted in Netflix’s global Top 10, including 17 Netflix Originals.
Leading the series line-up is The Evil Lawyer, directed by Nottapon Boonkrapob, a drama that delves into the moral grey areas of Thailand’s justice system.
Delusion stands out as a psychological family drama, centring on a daughter who begins to suspect her father, suffering from dementia, may be connected to a series of murders.
Empress of Flames reimagines one of Thailand’s most iconic lakorn titles, bringing palace intrigue and classic melodrama into a contemporary framework.
The film slate includes:
- The Debt Collector, following a former underground enforcer racing against a terminal illness to atone for the devastating debts imposed on illegal loan victims.
- My Dearest Assassin, about a young woman raised among contract killers who has never been trained to kill, yet becomes the target of a deadly hunt.
- The Red Line, which centres on a group of women who band together after falling victim to a call-centre scam.
- Overacting, a family comedy blending intentionally exaggerated action with themes of memory, love, and generational bonds.
Rounding out the slate is Netflix Thailand’s first true-crime documentary, Chompoo: Lost & Forgotten, which examines how the investigation into a missing child evolved into a media spectacle.
In addition to these originals, Netflix will continue to offer more than 600 hours of licensed Thai content, spanning films, scripted series, and unscripted programming.
