Phoebe Dynevor, star of Bridgerton, leads the cast in the intense survival thriller Thrash.
The film, previously known as Shiver and Beneath the Storm, follows a coastal town in the US as it faces a devastating storm and rising floodwaters teeming with hungry sharks. Dynevor plays Lisa, a pregnant woman trapped in her car as the waters surge, fighting to survive.

The movie will premiere on Netflix on April 10, 2026. Alongside Dynevor, the cast includes Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place: Day One), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), and Alyla Browne (Furiosa). Directed by Tommy Wirkola (Violent Night) and produced by Adam McKay, Thrash was originally scheduled for a July 2026 release by Sony but was moved forward following the Netflix deal.
The first trailer, set to a horror-tinged version of “Baby Shark,” shows the town battered by the storm, Lisa’s pregnancy, and the residents’ desperate struggle as they become cut off from rescue efforts.
