Netflix Shares Official Trailer for The 3 Body Problem Series

Netflix has shared the official trailer for The 3 Body Problem, adapted by the creators of Game of Thrones from Liu Cixin’s novel trilogy of the same name. In the eight-part series, an important decision made in the 1960s reverberates across space and time to the present day.

The 3 Body Problem, which is highly anticipated with its extraordinary story, is directed by Derek Tsang, who is nominated for an Oscar in 2021. The cast of the series includes Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jess Hong, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Benedict Wong, Jonathan Pryce, Rosalind Chao, Ben Schnetzer and Eve Ridley.

The Story of the 3 Body Problem

The series follows Jin Cheng (Jess Hong), who approaches all the questions of the universe with a curiosity so great that it can sometimes get him into trouble; Saul Durand (Jovan Adepo), who has yet to fulfill his true potential; and Auggie Salazar (Eiza González), a visionary and powerful enough to be the first target of anyone hostile to humanity, Outspoken and endearing Jack Rooney (John Bradley) and Will Downing (Alex Sharp), faced with news so shocking that it makes him rethink his role in the universe, join forces to form the “Oxford Five” as humanity faces a major threat that upends the laws of nature.

The 3 Body Problem will be released exclusively on Netflix on March 21, 2024 at the same time as the rest of the world.
