Netflix has officially greenlit a new series adaptation for Polish author Maria Dąbrowska’s Nights and Days.
The series is directed by Kamila Tarabura. The story follows Barbara and Bogumił Niechcic’s marriage across four seasons, highlighting the dynamics of their relationship. The narrative emphasizes Barbara’s inner world, personal conflicts, and search for fulfillment.
Netflix continues its strategy of bringing important works of Polish literature to global audiences with a modern interpretation.
Nights and Days is produced by Justyna Pawlak, with scripts written by Marta Bacewicz, Katarzyna Tybinka, and Kamila Tarabura.
Developed by Greenlight Films, the project aligns with Netflix’s vision of positioning local stories for a global audience.
