Maya Hawke plays Judy Luptack, the first female investigator in a male-dominated institution, while Kerry Condon portrays Alice Van Laar, the missing girl’s mother. The narrative explores the secrets of an affluent family, alongside themes of class tension and power dynamics, unfolding through a layered structure that moves between past and present.
