All the Sinners Bleed is adapted from S.A. Cosby’s novel of the same name.
Developed for Netflix by Black Panther writer Joe Robert Cole, the series stars Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù as Titus Crown, the first Black sheriff of a small Southern town.
The story follows an investigation into a serial killer whose crimes are marked by religious motifs in the American South.
The nine-episode series also stars Nicole Beharie, Daniel Ezra, Murray Bartlett, Giancarlo Esposito, and Amy Madigan. Producers include Barack and Michelle Obama’s company, Higher Ground Productions.
Exploring themes of belief, crime, religion, power, and moral hypocrisy, All the Sinners Bleed has yet to receive a release date.
