A major highlight of the event was the NATPE Honors Awards Gala, held on February 5, which recognized industry leaders including Paul Buccieri (A+E Networks), Luis Fernández (Telemundo), and Kelly Day (Prime Video). The event was hosted by Emmy Award-winning Nischelle Turner.
The NATPE Global Pitch Showcase, which took place during the event, awarded the half-hour comedy series Sweet and Sore as its winner. Written by Reem Morsi and produced by Adani Pictures and Rua Wani, the project received a prize of library music valued at USD $10,000 from Slipstream. (ttvnews)
