he Ottoman has cast acclaimed actor Mert Yazıcıoğlu in the lead role. According to an official statement shared on Bozdağ Film’s social media accounts, Yazıcıoğlu will portray the character Orhan Bey in the series’ upcoming seventh season. The series is globally distributed by ATV Distribution.
The producer Bozdağ Film announced, “A new era is beginning with Orhan! Mert Yazıcıoğlu will portray Orhan Bey, the son of Osman Bey. Welcome, Mert Yazıcıoğlu!”
In the new season of The Ottoman, Bülent İşbilen will take over as director, while producer Mehmet Bozdağ will continue to work on the script. Additionally, following Burak Özçivit’s departure from the series, veteran actor Cihan Ünal will step in to portray an older version of Osman Bey.
