MediaHub has finalized a new distribution agreement with KT Studio Genie, adding nine Korean scripted titles to its catalogue across several strategic regions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and IFE.
The addition strengthens MediaHub’s presence in areas where Korean drama continues to perform well for both linear and digital buyers.
KT Studio Genie, Korea’s top-tier K-content studio, is part of one of Korea’s major telecommunications and media groups and serves as a central production studio within the network The studio focuses on establishing a strong and sustainable content cycle across planning, production, acquisition, and distribution, allowing it to grow into complementary businesses. The company manages a broad slate of scripted projects each year, supported by experienced writers and established production partners. Its collaboration with MediaHub opens a new channel for bringing Korean content to a wider international client base. Its content frequently combines sharp writing with relatable emotional themes, giving international distributors reliable storytelling and clear genre identity, while bringing MediaHub closer to one of Korea’s active creative hubs and supports its goal of expanding curated Asian content for global clients.

The slate features Mother and Mom, Namib, Parole Examiner Lee, Pale Moon, Delivery Man, Strangers Again, Unlock My Boss, Love is for Suckers, and Good Job. The collection spans family drama, romance, legal stories, mystery, fantasy, and character driven narratives, giving programmers flexibility within a single package.
Paper Moon, based on Mitsuyo Kakuta‘s best selling novel with the same name, stands out with a tone and visual identity that differ from classical Korean drama. Its controlled pace and psychological focus make it a premium highlight for curated platforms seeking distinctive storytelling. The remainder of the lineup presents the familiar strengths of Korean content that audiences enjoy worldwide such as warm family stories, romantic tension, youthful energy, and accessible genre blends.
The partnership with KT Studio Genie supports MediaHub’s approach as a global distributor able to connect local needs with international titles. The company began producing its own Turkish series in 2023, adding original local productions to its slate and strengthening its dual role as both producer and distributor. Its wider library includes dramas, factual series, and films sourced from multiple regions, providing partners with a varied content pool for both linear and on demand use.
