The cast for the upcoming Show TV series Kalpazan (Counterfeiter) is coming together. Starring Çağlar Ertuğrul and Deniz Baysal, the series will be directed by the renowned director Mehmet Ada Öztekin.
Two new actors have joined the cast: Timuçin Esen and Burcu Terzioğlu. Timuçin Esen will play Adem, a man driven to counterfeiting by the harshness of the system, despite initially being a respectable, married man with two children. Burcu Terzioğlu is finalizing her role as Canan, Adem’s wife, who works as a security guard.
Çağlar Ertuğrul will take on the role of Kartal, Adem’s brother, while Deniz Baysal will portray Ayşe, Canan’s close friend and a police officer who becomes a key character in the story. The esteemed actor Osman Alkaş will play Orhan, Kartal, and Adem’s father.
According to Birsen Altuntaş, filming for Kalpazan is scheduled to begin in the first weeks of August, with the casting process still ongoing.
