One of Türkiye’s leading distribution companies, Inter Medya, unveiled its latest production, Heartstrings (Título en español / Spanish title: Hilos de Vida) at Content Americas, the first major industry event of the year, held in Miami.
Crafted entirely by a talented Turkish creative team, Heartstrings stands out as a compelling Turkish drama series designed for international audiences.
The series follows Mahinur Aydın, a devoted mother, who is faced with an unimaginable truth: Bade, the beloved daughter she has raised for years, is not her biological child. Meanwhile, her biological daughter, Derin, has been raised by her millionaire boss, Aras Yılmazer. When Bade’s illness forces these two families to unite, Mahinur and Aras must come together as a family, embarking on an emotional journey of healing and discovering an unexpected and profound love.

Heartstrings Synopsis
The lives of Mahinur Aydın and Aras Yılmazer are deeply connected by a dramatic hospital error that happened a few years ago. Currently, Mahinur, enduring a tough life with her controlling husband Kenan and their daughter Bade, faces constant external challenges in her life. For years, Kenan has wasted Mahinur’s salary for his pleasure, and now, with Mahinur quitting her job, his financial resources are gone, which causes conflict between the two. Despite Bade’s worsening health, Mahinur continues to cope with Kenan’s cruel behavior. In contrast, Aras Yılmazer, from a wealthy family and owner of a hospital chain, struggles with family business responsibilities and his cousin’s secret rivalry.
Aras has been planning to marry Pelin due to logical reasons that will affect his family business. However, the story takes a dramatic turn when Bade is hospitalized with a serious blood disease, leading Mahinur and Aras to discover that their daughters were switched at birth years ago due to a hospital mistake. This revelation turns their lives upside down, forcing Mahinur to seek Aras’s help. As Aras deals with the jealousies and conflicts within his family, DNA tests confirm the truth, causing significant tension between Mahinur and Aras. Mahinur must now face this new reality while dealing with Kenan’s growing hostility towards Aras.
As Mahinur and Aras come to terms with the hospital mix-up, a new conflict arises when Kenan accuses Aras of stealing his child, hoping to exploit Aras’s wealth. Amidst this chaos, Bade’s condition worsens, requiring urgent treatment. Despite Kenan’s manipulations, Mahinur agrees to work with Aras for her daughter’s health. United in their effort to save Bade, Mahinur and Aras search for a suitable donor. The truth that Derin is Mahinur’s biological daughter deeply affects both parents. As Bade’s condition deteriorates further, Mahinur and Aras reevaluate the bonds between their children and themselves, leading to a touching and emotional climax.
