First Trailer of the New Series ‘Light in the Dark’ is Released

The shooting of the series Light in the Dark (Bir Derdim Var), which will be broadcast on Kanal D in the new season continues rapidly and its first trailer is released. The new series brings together Birce Akalay and Mert Fırat in the lead roles. Light in the Dark is an adaptation of the Italian production Oltre La Soglia (On The Brink). In this new series Engin Hepileri, Neslihan Arslan, Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, Erdem Şenocak, İdil Sivritepe, Sami Aksu and Sennur Nogaylar are accompanied to Akalay and Fırat. Also Eylül Ersöz, Ata Artman, Ava Yaman, Esila Umut, Ataberk Mutlu, Ezgi Gör and Efe Poylu are the young actors of the series.

In the introduction where we hear the legendary song Bir Derdim Var by Mor ve Ötesi, which also gives the series its name, we see the young cast of the series for the first time. The conflict between the characters of Birce Akalay (who will give life to Dr. Nilüfer) and Mert Fırat (who will appear as Prosecutor Ömer) is at the center of the series. The series will focus on the sensitive world of adolescents.

Aytekin Ataş composed the music for the series and Mor ve Ötesi is the music supervisor of a project for the first time. Burak Müjdeci is the director of Light in the Dark, with Duygu Ertekin’s signature on the adaptation design. The script of the series is written by Yekta Torun and the script team also includes Deniz Gürlek.
