Filming has officially started for Şehrazat, the highly anticipated new series from OGM Pictures, coming soon.
Set in İstanbul, this intense drama tells the story of Şehrazat, a hopeful and strong young woman studying medicine. Just as she’s dreaming of a bright future with her boyfriend, Ferhat, their world is turned upside down when he’s wrongfully sentenced to death. In a desperate move to save him, Şehrazat reaches out to Büyükbey, a powerful figure known for his dark influence, but she quickly discovers that nothing he offers comes without a cost. Adding to the intrigue, the storyline also follows Büyükbey’s daughter, Şirin, and his nephew, Kubat, whose strained marriage becomes part of Büyükbey’s larger plan to protect his empire.
The cast includes names such as İsmail Hacıoğlu, Simay Barlas, Aytaç Şaşmaz, Burcu Cavrar, Mehmet Çevik, and Ayşegül Ünsal.
Produced by OGM Pictures and Onur Güvenatam, Şehrazat is directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı, and the screenplay is written by Pelin Gülcan, Lara Bulut Tecim, and Batuhan Özbay.
