In her new role, Deniz Şaşmaz Oflaz will continue to lead the development and production of local content and, as part of managing TLC and DMAX channels, will oversee the local programming and planning teams for these popular networks. Meanwhile, Grigory Lavrov, who has been leading TLC and DMAX channels since 2020 as Vice President of Marketing, Local Brands, and Franchise Management for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye (MENAT), will continue to guide the commercial marketing teams across CEE and MENAT, focusing on responsibilities outside of Türkiye.

About Deniz Şaşmaz Oflaz

Before becoming BluTV’s CEO, Şaşmaz Oflaz held several key roles within the company since 2016, including Content and Commercial Director, Content Director, and Content Acquisition Consultant.

She attended Pierre Loti French High School and studied Performing Arts and Cinema at Paris Nanterre University. During her studies, she represented the independent distribution company Rfilm and later worked in content acquisition at Canal+ before returning to Türkiye. At Rfilm, she served as the Director of Acquisitions and Sales, managed sales at Medyavizyon, and at MB, worked on licensing 20th Century Fox films for television and distributing independent films in theaters.

This highlights Warner Bros. Discovery’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Türkiye and further integrating Warner Bros. Discovery’s operations with BluTV.
