At a particularly dynamic edition of Content Americas, Inter Medya marked its most productive Miami market to date. We spoke with Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Head of Sales and Acquisitions at Inter Medya, about new deals, emerging formats, co-production momentum, and a very special personal recognition.
How was Content Americas 2026 for Inter Medya?
Content Americas proved to be an exceptionally busy and successful market for us; in fact, we can confidently say it was our most productive Miami market to date. It provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with our existing business partners while sowing the seeds for numerous new alliances.
During the event, we were delighted to announce the sales of Valley of Hearts to Bolivia and El Salvador, with many more deals to be unveiled in the near future. We are consistently proud to see events where Turkish content remains at the forefront. From our own catalogue, Eshref Ruya and Halef emerged as standout titles of the market.

What were the key trends and highlights you observed during the event?
We were excited to observe a significant appetite for vertical dramas also here. We see immense potential in this format. The event was also highly beneficial regarding our co-production investments.
And, we concluded the event on a very high note. On a personal note, being honored at the WAWA (Worldwide Audiovisual Association) Woman of the Year award ceremony was a moment of immense pride for my country, my company, and myself. I would like to take this opportunity to share my happiness and express my sincere gratitude.
