Mike Flanagan’s new adaptation of Stephen King’s classic horror novel Carrie is moving forward at Prime Video, with the main cast now confirmed.
Summer H. Howell will star as Carrie, while Samantha Sloyan takes on the role of Margaret White. The cast also includes Siena Agudong, Matthew Lillard, Alison Thornton, Thalia Dudek, Amber Midthunder, Josie Totah, Arthur Conti, and Joel Oulette.

The series is being developed by Amazon MGM Studios and will span eight episodes. Flanagan, known for his work in horror, is both the creator and director.
Carrie was previously adapted into a now-iconic 1976 film directed by Brian De Palma and starring Sissy Spacek. This new series marks the story’s first major return to screen in years, and fans are curious to see how it will translate to television.
Filming is expected to begin in the coming weeks. A release date has not yet been announced.
