Akli Film has offered the lead role in their upcoming Halit Bin Velid movie to Burak Özçivit who has portrayed Osman Bey in the The Ottoman for five seasons.
For five seasons, Burak Özçivit has portrayed the lead role in The Ottoman series, produced by Bozdağ Film and distributed by ATV Distribution. Last summer, after years of starring in historical dramas, he teamed up with Mert Yazıcıoğlu in the film Berber (Barber) produced by OGM Pictures for Netflix, set in the present day.

According to Birsen Altuntaş, Özçivit has received an offer to join Akli Film’s production of the Halit Bin Velid movie this summer. The renowned actor is currently in negotiations with the company.
Halit Bin Velid movie is a project that Emre Konuk, the owner of Akli Film, has long dreamed of shooting. The company, which will shoot the second season of the Saladin: The Conqueror of Jerusalem series in this new season, has accelerated its preparations to start shooting this summer.
