Premiering in mid-September in Türkiye, Halef quickly captured attention with its strong storytelling and rising ratings. Produced by Most Production and led by acclaimed producer Gül Oğuz, the series stars İlhan Şen, Aybüke Pusat, and Biran Damla Yılmaz.

Globally distributed by Inter Medya, Halef will be showcased at MIPCancun 2025, where Inter Medya will hold the Latin American premiere of the series on Wednesday, November 19 at the Cancun Theatre at 12 p.m.

Set in Şanlıurfa, a city steeped in history and tradition, Halef explores themes of family, legacy, and the unseen ties that connect generations. At its center is Serhat, a young man torn between two women, whose choices spark a chain of emotional reckonings and power struggles. For this special feature, we sat down with producer Gül Oğuz and the series’ lead cast to talk about the making of Halef, its layered characters, and why this story, deeply rooted in Anatolian culture, is resonating with audiences both in Türkiye and around the world.
