The European Film Market (EFM) 2025 officially opened yesterday (February 13), kicking off a week of industry discussions, special screenings, and networking opportunities. On February 16, the Berlinale Series Market will start, running until February 19, serving as a key platform for content within the EFM at Berlinale. The event will take place at CinemaxX at Potsdamer Platz and Gropius Bau.
At the heart of the Berlinale Series Market is the Berlinale Series Market Selects. This year’s selection spans various genres, including, crime thrillers, mystery dramas, and comedies, featuring productions from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Estonia, France, Greece, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, and the USA. Additionally, Spain has been selected as this year’s EFM Country in Focus.
