Atresmedia arrives in Berlin with two of its most outstanding series from recent months. The dramas Santuario (Sanctuary) and Honor (Your Honor – Spanish Adaptation) have been selected by the internationally prestigious Berlinale festival for its Series Market Selects section. Both Atresmedia productions are among the 17 series chosen worldwide by Berlinale programmers.

The series selected by the Berlinale will have a unique opportunity to be screened in the international market. In this way, both Santuario (Sanctuary) and Honor (Your Honor – Spanish Adaptation) will have a special screening during the event under the umbrella and seal of the selection of Berlinale, connecting potential buyers with distributors to reach a global audience.

Atresmedia Sales, in addition to being the global distributor of the selected series, will be present at the Berlinale Series Market, which will take place in Berlin from February 16th to 19th.

Santuario (Sanctuary) is a production of Atresmedia in collaboration with Pokeepsie Films. Montse García and Rodrigo Ruiz-Gallardón are the executive producers, with Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang as producers.

Aura plays Valle, an engineer specializing in AI with clear values, but when she is offered a job at the Sanctuary, she will have to rethink her ideals. Lucía, on the other hand, portrays Pilar, a woman who arrives at the Sanctuary three months pregnant, soon finding everything becoming strange to her.

Meanwhile, Honor, (Your Honor – Spanish Adaptation) is a production of Atresmedia in collaboration with Portocabo. Montse García and Alfonso Blanco are the executive producers of this drama. The series is based on the Israeli format ‘Kvodo’, created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach for yes TV.

Starring Darío Grandinetti, Honor (Your Honor – Spanish Adaptation) offers an emotional, criminal, and legal thriller that delves into the moral dilemma of a respected judge who must decide what he is willing to do to save his son after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run that could ruin his life.
