L’Abidine, who also starred in the film, had previously played the lead role in Beyrutlu Gelin (Beirut Bride), the Arab adaptation of the Istanbullu Gelin (Istanbul Bride) series, which lasted for three seasons and was shot in Istanbul.

Dhafer L’Abidine was accompanied by Ibrahim Al Hassaoui, Adam Zahr, Khairia Nazmi, Summer Shesha, Ida Al Kussay, Adam Abu Sakha, Sarah Al Yafei and Emilia Fox in To My Son.
