Disney+ is making a strong comeback with its local productions, bringing an exciting slate of new shows and movies to audiences.

The streaming platform will release the film Umami, starring Burak Deniz and Öykü Karayel, on February 12. Following that, March will bring Başka Bir Sen, featuring Giray Altınok and Ezgi Mola. In April, Kalender Pide Salonu with Tolga Çevik and İbrahim Büyükak will debut, and May will mark the premiere of the series Aşkı Hatırla, starring renowned actors Barış Arduç and Hande Erçel.

Disney+ also has a big comedy series in the works, The 8th Family (8. Aile). Produced by 25 Film and Ali Atay, filming is expected to begin in February in Istanbul. The 8-episode series humorously explores the lives of the world’s wealthiest “8th family.” Haluk Bilginer stars as the father, with Ali Atay, Serkan Keskin, Çağlar Çorumlu, Hazal Kaya, and Mehmet Özgür as his children.
