Netflix has announced the release date for the second season of Shahmaran starring Serenay Sarıkaya and Burak Deniz. The new season of the series will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 8.
The cast includes notable actors such as Mustafa Uğurlu, Mert Ramazan Demir, Ebru Özkan, Hakan Karahan, Ekin Gökgöz, Mahir Günşiray, Mehmet Bilge Aslan, Ümit Çırak, Olimpia Ahenk Dourmouchev, Doğanay Ünal, Nilay Erdönmez, Nil Sude Albayrak, Berfu Halisdemir, Elif Nur Kerkük, Lorin Merhart, and Beran Soysal. This season, Saadet Işıl Aksoy joins the series as Lilith, who returns to seek revenge for a betrayal she suffered for the sake of love.
Produced by TIMS&B Productions and led by producers Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar, the series is directed by Umur Turagay and Bertan Başaran, with a script written by Pınar Bulut.
What Will Happen in the Second Season of Shahmaran?
The long-awaited prophecy has come true, and Şahmaran has started to awaken in Şahsu’s body. There are challenging trials to be faced for this awakening to be completed. Meanwhile, Lilith emerges from her cursed well, ready to take revenge for the betrayal she suffered for the sake of love. As she tries to understand this new world she has returned to after centuries, Cihan will accompany her. Due to Lilith’s anger, Maran has no one left in this world besides Şahsu. As Şahsu and Maran’s love is tested in this battle, Şahmaran and Lilith will continue their struggle over the “Cycle of the Universe.”
