Series Mania Festival is making its grand return to Lille, France, from March 21 to 28, 2025, bringing an exciting mix of fresh and groundbreaking series from across the globe. This year’s edition opens with Carême, an Apple TV+ French drama directed by Martin Bourboulon and starring Benjamin Voisin.
Series Mania 2025 promises a diverse selection of 26 world premieres and 12 international premieres, representing 19 countries.

Nine series will compete in the International Competition, reflecting a wide range of themes and storytelling approaches:
- The German (Israel/USA)
- Kaboul (European co-production)
- Generations (Denmark)
- Querer (Spain)
- Hal & Harper (USA)
- Long Bright River (USA)
- Empathy (Canada)
- Mussolini: Son of the Century (Italy/France)
- The Deal (Switzerland/France/Luxembourg/Belgium)
This year’s International Jury will be chaired by Pamela Adlon (Better Things), joined by French composer Victor Le Masne, Argentinian-American actor Ignacio Serricchio, British director Minkie Spiro, and French actress Karin Viard. The festival will conclude with the fifth season of HIP (HPI), a Lille-based hit series starring Audrey Fleurot.
Series Mania 2025 is also set to feature a series of insightful masterclasses with notable names such as Jonathan Cohen, Karin Viard, Lola Lafon, Pamela Adlon, Victor Le Masne, Charlie Brooker and Jessica Rhoades.
