Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ is teaming up with Ay Yapım to bring the story of Necdet Elmas to the screen. Known as Türkiye’s first gangster, Elmas gained popularity in the 60s for his bank robberies and was also known for his charm and intelligence.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ’s production company, Kampeon, is also on board as a producer for the project, which is being developed for a digital platform. The series will be inspired by the biography Babam Gansterdi Ama Ben Çocuktum (My Father Was a Gangster, But I Was a Child), written by Necdet Elmas’s son, Yıldırım Elmas, and promises to deliver a captivating and colorful crime drama set in 1960s Türkiye.
