‘Family Secrets’ Team in New York for International Emmy Awards

The team of Kanal D’s series Family Secrets (Yargı)  traveled to New York for the International Emmy Awards ceremony; Sema Ergenekon and Kerem Çatay received their finalist medals the day before.

Producer Kerem Çatay, director Ali Bilgin, screenwriter Sema Ergenekon and lead actors Kaan Urgancıoğlu and Pınar Deniz from the team of the Ay Yapım series Family Secrets, which has been acclaimed both in Turkey and abroad for three seasons, traveled to New York for the 51st International Emmy Awards this year. Before today’s ceremony, Kerem Çatay and Sema Ergenekon were presented with finalist medals.

UNIQUE CANDIDATE FROM TURKEY

The International Emmy Awards, given annually by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to productions produced outside the United States, are being held for the 51st time this year. In the past months, it was announced that only the series Family Secrets by Ay Yapım was nominated from Turkey this year.

BEST TELENOVELA

Producer Kerem Çatay, director Ali Bilgin, screenwriter Sema Ergenekon and lead actors Kaan Urgancıoğlu and Pınar Deniz from the Family Secrets series team, which is competing in the “Best Telenovela” category, recently traveled to New York for the ceremony. Two days before the ceremony, Kerem Çatay and Sema Ergenekon were presented with their finalist medals and Sema Ergenekon participated in a panel discussion with the other finalists.

The series Family Secrets airs on Kanal D on Sundays.
