The recent ratings record-breaking series Family Secrets (Yargı) received the “Best Telenovela” award at the International Emmy Awards. The announcement that Family Secrets, which aired on Kanal D, received the award was shared on the social media accounts of the organization as follows:
‘BEST TELENOVELA’ AWARD!
At yesterday’s International Emmy Awards, where 56 productions from 20 countries competed in a total of 14 categories, Family Secrets, which competed with Cara e Coragem and Pantanal from Brazil and Para Semper from Portugal in the “Best Telenovela” category, won the award. The series, which was named ‘Family Secrets’ at the 51st International Emmy Awards, left its strong rival behind.
THE ONLY CANDIDATE FROM TURKEY
Producer Kerem Çatay, director Ali Bilgin, screenwriter Sema Ergenekon and lead actors Kaan Urgancıoğlu and Pınar Deniz from the team of Family Secrets series, which has been highly acclaimed both in Turkey and abroad for three seasons, recently went to New York for the 51st International Emmy Awards this year.
The International Emmy Awards, given annually by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to productions produced outside the United States, was announced that only Kanal D’s popular series Family Secrets was nominated from Turkey this year.
