The new series The Cost of Lies, produced by O3 Medya and distributed worldwide by Eccho Rights, is set to air its final episode.
Starring Timuçin Esen, Çağlar Ertuğrul, Şükran Ovalı, and Deniz Baysal in lead roles, the series will conclude with its 8th episode.
About ‘The Cost of Lies’:
Adem, a kind man and skilled artist, lives modestly with his wife Canan and their children, Arda and Naz. Formerly employed by the Central Bank as a fine artist and engraver, Adem now works at the mint, barely making ends meet. To surprise Arda, who has dyslexia, Adem prints a coin with his son’s face, but this well-meaning gesture costs him his job and puts his family at risk of eviction. Faced with losing everything, Adem is tempted to cross a line he’s avoided his whole life.
Enter Kartal, Adem’s cunning, swindler brother, who convinces him to print counterfeit money. Kartal, a master of deception, lives on the edge, opposite to Adem’s law-abiding nature. As the brothers join forces, their lives spiral. While the money brings power and wealth, it also introduces chaos and moral conflict. Canan and Adem are transformed by the greed and risks involved.
What begins as a desperate attempt to secure their future ultimately threatens to tear their family apart.
